Residence Belgicka, Vinohrady, Prague 2

MaMaison Residence Belgicka in Vinohrady is one of these residences where you may sometimes feel at home. The staff is friendly, but not over you every time you come in and out of the residence, and you live in a nice residential area, with a few expats around.

A cozy apart hotel with budget prices

This modern and cosy residence offers 24 large apartments, and 6 studios. And they offer a lot of free services, life wifi in your room, a fitness centre, a sauna, laundry room, and 24h reception!

The rates are very good, and the cheaper rooms (studios, 30 to 40m2) will be in the range of 60-70 EUR per night. Should you wish to get a one-bedroom or two bedroom apartment (they range from 45 to 70 m2) you’ll have to pay slightly more, but will often find rates below 100 EUR, as long as you book your room early enough. Considering that these larger apartments can fit 4 to 6 people, it will definitely be a good budget option.

Affordable accommodation with still large rooms?

You may think that it is difficult (or even not possible) to get cheap accomodation and have large rooms.. Well, in fact you may be surprised, but it’s totally possible (and in fact not only in Prague!). It is as simple as choosing to stay in a residence instead of a hotel.

Apart hotel in Prague

Instead of staying in a hotel room, you’ll be staying in a fully furnished apartment, where you’ll have a lot more space, and a kitchen, should you like to cook for yourself. It is ideal for families, or even business travelers, who are staying for a few days, and need some spaces to stay and work at the same time.

You may ask why this is cheaper. Well first, instead of being right in the centre, you’ll be something like 10minutes away from the centre by tram or metro. In fact, you often end up staying in nice residential area with many nice cafés and restaurants (like Vinohrady area in Prague 2). And finally you won’t get the daily housekeeping.

To sum, you’ll get slightly less in terms of services, but you get ample space in your room, a kitchen, and most of the time you’ll end up paying 30% to 40% less than what you normally pay in a smaller hotel room. So give it a try!
